TransCanada’s wholly owned subsidiary, NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL), is constructing the North Central Corridor (NCC) pipeline consisting of 300 kilometres of 42-inch pipe and associated above ground facilities.
The pipeline, which will transport sweet natural gas, will connect the northwest portion of the Alberta System at the existing Meikle River compressor station to the northeast portion of the system at the existing Woodenhouse compressor station. Additionally, 26 megawatts of compression is proposed at the existing Meikle River compressor station.
